Respecting private lives and protecting personal data is particularly important to the French Research Institute for Development (IRD).
As part of the recruitment process, the following data is collected:
- Your marital status: name, first name(s), age, postal address, email address, etc.;
- Your curriculum vitae, including former position(s) and/or current position, area of job search or level of last diploma obtained;
- Economic and financial information such as salary range, previous employment contracts or pay slips;
- Application connection data
(hereinafter your “Data”).
The processing implemented in our recruitment processes meets the following purposes:
- the search and identification of relevant profiles allowing applications to be collected: creation of a CV library, creation of a platform allowing the submission of applications on the job site, creation of an online directory, making contacts during job forum;
- pre-selection of candidates: sorting, recording and classifying CVs and cover letters in paper form or in a database;
- assessing the candidate's ability to hold a job and measuring their professional skills: processing of information collected during telephone, face-to-face, video interviews, etc.;
- the completion of legal formalities and the provision of the administrative file of the selected candidates;
- the establishment of anonymous statistics.
As part of the processing described herein, all appropriate technical, organizational and security measures are taken against any unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction and loss of your Data, which is hosted in data centers located within the European Union for the entire duration of the treatments. Unless there is a legislative, regulatory or court decision to the contrary, access to your Data will be restricted to employees present within IRD and, where applicable, to its service providers, when the latter need to consult them and/or use them for purposes described above.
The service providers involved in your data are committed to the IRD regarding the processing of your personal data. This is the company CEGID (Talentsoft solution).
No specific recruitment support system, other than the interviews carried out, is implemented.
Please note that in the context of the processing of your Data, and in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 applicable from May 25, 2018 (hereinafter “GDPR ") and Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended, relating to data processing, files and freedoms, you have a right of access to your Data (article 15 of the GDPR) and, if this is the case, you have the following rights under the conditions specified in the GDPR:
- Right of access by the data subject (article 15 of the GDPR);
- Right to rectification (article 16 of the GDPR);
- Right to erasure (article 17 of the GDPR);
- Right to restriction of processing (article 18 of the GDPR);
- Right to data portability (article 20 of the GDPR);
- Right to object (article 21 of the GDPR).
All the rights listed above are personal and can only be exercised by the person who communicated their Data to IRD or by their agent.
